Trial and error is basically what I'm foreseeing, lol. ;P
Alternating POVs is definitely another option, as you and arwen88 have said. I always get weird with alternating POVs, though. Like I get super caught up in whether it's balanced between the two perspectives, so idk. Plus it's harder for me to maintain a consistent character voice when jumping back and forth like that, but who knows! Maybe I'll try it and that will totally solve the problem, lol.
