One of the things that amazed me about this episode was to think about how quickly military infrastructure got set up. So, the oak leaves that Winters got in the last episode -- someone had to think of that, order that, deliver that. The same with the shipment of all of the stuff that Speirs is sending out.

Nixon certainly has plenty of cynicism by this time. The men are adapting quickly to different circumstances. Yet the attitudes have not changed given O'Keeffe's experience.

The line at the card game seems to encapsulate the episode's theme, which is that the war is no longer about who wins but who gets what.

With the liberation of the camp, this episode is again one of those splits where the first half misleads one's expectation of where things are going. They did a great job what's the grimness of the discovery.

Nice circle around with the woman whose house Nixon broke into. Also with the opening scene where we don't realize what the cleanup is going to be about.
