I am so excited for this fic. This is such a beautiful, bittersweet moment and I really love the palpable tension you've managed to infuse throughout the scene. It's almost another fully-fleshed character in the room there with them in a way that hurts but also makes me want to cheer them through at the same time.

Also, LOVE this line, lol:

"I'm long past the age where I've any virtue left to trouble me," Andy said finally.

Thank you! I'm generally pretty happy with it, though need to kick it in edits and write the ending. Hopefully I actually finish it at some point soon.
