WIP Wednesday [2020-01-29]

You all know the drill by now: trot out a piece of a work in progress you’re particularly proud of or crowdsource your troubles among the rest of the talented so-and-so’s in HBOWar fandom! Chat about creation in general or get into the nitty gritty of word choice in this one sentence that just isn’t quite clicking.
Go forth, you beautiful babies, and let’s build each other up!

I'm sorry hon.
For what it's worth, I absolutely love your writing and would be delighted to read any of your fic attempts that make it to posting. It's always easier to see the flaws in your own work than the things that other people love so just remember that there's a whole audience of people out here who'll be jazzed to see what you wrote just because you wrote it. <333
(I totally feel you on this, too. I've started this fic twice and am seriously considering scrapping what I've got to give it a third go. Prompts are great, I'm just having trouble figuring out what to do specifically.)

I already know that I need to get better at turning off that loud and annoying internal editor voice but that's easier said than done. I'm going to remember your words, though. ♥
(Am totally here to listen if you want to discuss writing, at any time and however vaguely!)

Last exchange I hunted for Canadian spelling. :D

Part of the anxiety is just because it's for an exchange and I'm writing it for someone instead of just my own self-indulgence, so there is an added layer of pressure there. But I'd be lying if I said it was all that because I'm anxious all the time lol.

That doesn't take away my constant anxiety but it's extremely nice to hear.
