Although this cast is a mixed American/Brit one, we always experience that when watching British TV. We have the joke that there are only 20 actors in all of Britain so we keep seeing them appear in different things.
Yes, I thought McDonough was such a good choice for that role (small though it has been) so it was an entertaining surprise to see that this role probably cinched that one for him.
