Trying to do a quick fill for the 5 times Winnix prompt where everybody tells him to go for it but Nix just won't get it. So far only 1 time down:

“Lieutenant, I hope you realize,” Sobel starts, “that my call for discretion applies to everyone in the company.”

Nix blinks. “Sir?”

Sobel pinches the bridge of his nose and sighs heavily, as if Nix’s lack of comprehension were nothing but one more trial delivered by God to test him.

“I’m not an unreasonable man. I understand--needs. But Easy must come first. And I expect--I demand that my men deal with their needs swiftly and discreetly and without drawing attention.” He looks at his empty hands, now looking utterly drained, and for once, rather helpless. “Once it’s out in the open, there’s nothing I can do. You understand?”

Aaaahhh this is so excellent! I love that Sobel is one of the ones to try to hit Nix with a clue-by-four, lol. Brilliant~ Can’t wait to see more!!
