thrillingdetectivetales: Davie and Alan from the play, Kidnapped, kissing on the moors. Both men's faces are obscured. Davie has a hand on Alan's cheek. (TP - Leckie is writing)
I started re-listening to Helmet for My Pillow again now that I'm back at work and need noise to keep me company while I do things, and god I love this book. Like, even outside of classifying it as my favorite war memoir or my favorite piece of nonfiction I might just say it's one of my favorite books, overall, period. of all time.

I really need to get around to reading literally any of the other Leckie war books I have to see if they're as good but this one is just so chefkissingfingers.gif that it's hard to move past it.
