[ANNOUNCEMENT] A Year in the Life (BoB fic) & Open Prompt List

Hey folks!

I've really enjoyed working on my Band of Brothers 30-Day Christmas-themed drabble challenge these last few days. The prompts have been delightful, and they've been so much fun to fill. However, I want to challenge myself with producing longer fics for prompt fills. So, I would like to do another open-prompt challenge.

Here's the gist:

what: one 5k fic per month, gen. or romance
who: any pairing and/or individual characters in the Band of Brothers fandom
how: start replying to this post to claim your month and give me your prompt; once I have a few prompt requests, I'll create a masterlist and go from there
when: prompting opens now and will go until all twelve slots are full; the first filled prompt will go up in January 2020, and I will aim to post by the last day of each month!
where: I'll post them here and on my AO3 account lt_aldo_raine
why: because why the hell not??

Like I said, kids, its been fun so far, so let's keep the fun going. <3

If you're up for it, I would love some Don/Buck, either post-war or during canon. Talbert character studies are always good and he doesn't get near enough love. Webgott, Don/Buck, or BabeRoe wing!fic would be cool. OH! I know! BabeRoe but from the perspective of like, Renée. (You don't have to do all of these, just throwing some spaghetti for you to see what sticks.)

I love all of these ideas. I may end up attempting to fill more than one, depending on how the prompt-list continues to go. [A 5k BabeRoe from Renée's perspective sounds like such a good time, but I'm also curious about a Tab character study, and I've yet to write Don/Buck--but then, I can't leave the wing!fic in the cold, so who the hell knows? Maybe I'll do all of 'em!]
