[EVENT] The Pacific 10th Anniversary Comment Fest

It was recently brought to my attention that I allowed the 10th anniversary of the air date of the first episode of The Pacific to slip by without comment. To mitigate my shame, and to celebrate what this series has meant to us all as a part of the HBO War oeuvre, Heavy Artillery will be running a 10th Anniversary Comment Fest from now until the air date of the final episode in the series, May 16th.

To participate, just drop a comment below with a prompt relating to The Pacific and eagerly await a fill from one of your HBO War fandom fellows. Think of it as a mini-meme, where the name of the game is short and sweet!

Every fill posted by May 16, 2020 will be added to a collection on AO3, if possible, and to a masterlist here on Heavy Artillery. As per always, if there are any questions you’re welcome to reach out to yours truly via Dreamwidth, Tumblr, or Discord for clarification.

Now, go! Go forth and flood the world with some Pacific Theatre goodness!

[Fic] Desk, Set, Match

Title: Desk, Set, Match

Word Count: 7,000

Summary: Two hours later, Dick was forced to admit he'd miscalculated. He'd imagined that he'd be able to tolerate a fully clothed Lewis Nixon, fine suit or not, perching on the edge of his desk. He had not accounted for Nix with his jacket off and his tie loosened to show off the skin at his throat, leaning over Dick's shoulder. He especially hadn't accounted for Nix demonstrating an apparent interest in his job.
