This week, Don Malarkey is making me happy. Revisited a few bits of his book for research on a couple of different topics and I just genuinely enjoy it so much. He's one of those guys that's vastly underrated in fandom and I really hope to write more of him in the coming year, because what's not to like?

He's got sleepy eyes and beautiful cheekbones and is surprisingly swole, plus he's a dude that actually expresses emotions, which will be a new one for me, lol.

I've also been thinking about Malarkey a lot recently, and it's entirely your fault. ;) read: I've been starting to draft a plot for your Don/Buck fic due in April for my yearlong thingy So, we'd recommend his book, then?

I definitely would. There’s a lot of talk of fishing and wilderness and what have you but of the Easy Co. books I’ve read so far I think it’s my favorite in that it stands best on its own as a narrative.
