Yay, fic recs!

I'm in quarantine with my brother's girlfriend (and my brother). I guess she's pretty much my sister-in-law because she and my brother plan on having kids and getting married as soon as they can afford it. Love her.

Anyway, gonna get her into BOB today. Finally, with nothing else to do, she has succumbed to my evil plan of getting her on the good ship Winnix. Or, she will. Once we watch it in an hour or so.

I'm so grateful for the people in this fandom! As an extrovert, this isolation has been really hard for me. Last week I had an anxiety attack about trade wars/civil wars with Mucca, who was VERY patient and helped keep me grounded in what I really need to worry about. She reminded me to do my best to reach out to people who are probably struggling with their living situations, because just having somebody remember them and talk to them is helpful.

Awww. Now I want to rewatch BoB. Maybe once I'm done this TP fic. I haven't since we did the rewatch last fall.

I'm glad that you're finding fandom connections. I'm calling relatives I haven't talked to in years just to see how they're doing. Many aunts!

I've been awol from the positivity post for a while but now I'm baaack!!

SO! First of all this week there was the first rewatch of GK and that was really good! Loved chatting with all of the other people interested in GK <3

Theeen I want to tell you all about this amazing Babe/Bill art that V_a_l_y made for me! Isn't it beautiful?? (she's accepting commissions, if anybody is interested!)

Oh and I finally read skyearth85's Takin' Care of Business which has such a good porn OMG such a great porn scene!
Definitely go read it if you want to read a nice winnix post war (with A+ porn included)!

And another post war fic! Mucca's In the Mountains Green as Jade is a great Dick/Talbert fic post war. There are so many feelings and characterization I LOVE IT

That Bright Land.
Winnix. A modern AU like we rarely get in this fandom: IC, beautiful, with solid ensemble scenes and the perfect translation of original material into a new setting. As far as I can see, very well researched too.

Spark, Sizzle, Pop
Sledge/Snafu. Take out your fans, boys and girls: this one is hot as hell. Super sweet and steamy first time fic.

And Lay Our Bones to Rest
Andy/Eddie with third party POV.
I feel like this one didn't get all the love it deserves, possibly because it's more ensemble than couple-oriented. If you like deep, intense, realistic characters being obnoxious but also kinda sweet (?) in their old age, this is for you.

I don't know if it's the quarantine or what but my brain is buzzing with ideas and fic starts especially after the GK rewatch and I really desperately want to throw all my responsibilities out the window and just write. Something I haven't felt in forever. ;-;

Now just to survive until I do have time to write.
