Hey y'all! I know a few folks out there are interested in The Pacific exclusively from the Sledgefu perspective, so I threw together a guide to timestamps by episode for those who may find it useful.

I did my best to black block all spoilers*, but be aware that because there are a few things I felt it was worth warning for, you may encounter spoilers herein.

*Warnings for character death are marked with an asterisk. All other warnings deal with graphic violence that's not necessarily character-specific.

A note about the "granular cuts:" Sledge and Leckie’s stories are pretty tightly intertwined in Parts 5 & 6, with the POV swapping between them in shortish chunks. If you’re up for skipping that frequently, the granular cuts are there to deliver you unto a Leckie-free existence. I say this as someone who has come to reluctantly adore Leckie, and recognizes that he may not be everyone’s cup of tea, particularly so late in the game without context.

Part One
12:30-15:54
45:35-End

Part Two
38:38-41:00

Part Three
This one is basically just Basilone being conflicted about going home and Leckie catching feelings for an Australian gal so don’t bother with it.

Part Four
2:45-4:18

Part Five
6:42-10:37
11:57-End
    The granular cut:
    11:57-31:11
    31:34-31:53
    33:40-34:40
    36:35-38:49
    39:48-40:25
    40:56-42:57
    43:10-End

    Episode Warnings:
    42:00-42:39
Snafu digs out a dead Japanese soldier’s gold teeth.

Part Six
2:45-End
    The granular cut:
    2:45-6:34
    8:18-12:06
    12:56-15:50
    17:06-18:32
    21:25-23:20
    23:40-25:44
    26:00-27:27
    28:32-42:03

    Episode Warnings:
    40:09-41:08*
A Marine has a nightmare he can’t wake up from. He is killed with an entrenching shovel to keep from giving the rest of the unit away.

Part Seven
2:45-11:52
14:37-End
    Episode Warnings:
    21:18-22:02
The Marines use flamethrowers on some Japanese soldiers in a pillbox bunker.
    27:59-30:20*
    Hillbilly’s death scene.
    35:14-38:07*
    Ack-Ack's death scene.
    39:40-42:28
The iconic "bad germs" scene. Snafu tosses rocks into the busted-open skull of a Japanese soldier to amuse himself and talks Sledge out of digging a Japanese soldier’s teeth out.

Part Eight
2:45-5:19

Part Nine
2:45-End
    Episode Warnings:
    13:52-14:45

    21:50-22:60
A Japanese civilian woman tries desperately to give her baby over to the Marines. They’re not sure why and it turns out she’s strapped with dynamite. She and the baby both explode.

    Hamm's death scene.

Part Ten
4:27-6:28
8:45-11:02
